Drone, by nature, often feels dark and gloomy, but the majority of the tracks on this collaborative work feel light and airy, like the album title suggests. They each seem to float upward, eventually vanishing into the sky. Standout piece Cuando la Rutina Nos Toma Desprevenidos perhaps best exemplifies this characteristic, as it crescendos with what sounds, just faintly, like ethereal vocal backing. These two sonic artists based in Buenos Aires and New York, respectively, have worked together before, which comes across in the seamless quality of this beautiful album. It brings a little light to a dark winter month.
